Domicile data for UK domiciled students is supplied to HESA in the form of postcodes. Postcodes are mapped to unitary authorities.<br /><br />UK domiciled students are those whose normal residence is in the UK, including the Channel Islands and Isle of Man.<br /><br />The percentage of Welsh domiciled students with unknown Unitary Authority was 1.3% in 2002/03 and 2.4% in 2003/04.<br />One Welsh institution had a much higher rate of students with unknown Unitary Authority in 2003/04 compared with 2002/03.<br />
